Blossoming, vibrate, fresh and brimming with energy and vitality, I, Caroline Owhoso want to gently, in simple and easy ways guide you back to health. Using both my personal and educational background, I will help you look and stay sexy and young with vitality, increase your energy, as you blossom in your new diet lifestyle. Using my knowledge of nutrition, my desire is to motivate and inspire you in making healthy changes fun through coaching, one-on-one, or in groups. In doing so, the desired result would be to bring your body back to a state of natural vibrant good health.
I became interested in raw living foods and healthy eating after my own fight with illnesses and weight gain. I had fibromyalgia, bipolar, allergy, and asthma and some of these since childhood. In August 2011, I gave up and decided to approach the natural path. I found a doctor 45 minutes away from me which I did not mind. I needed help that work fast and it's safe. Coupled with my illnesses I was battling with, I was sick and tired of the side effects of the medications I was on. My weight jumped from 145 to 200Ibs. I was depressed, mad, and scared. Thus, I searched for the best solution. The Naturopathic doctor and diet change was it. In five months, I lost 60Ibs and lost 10 pant sizes. I recovered to a vibrant good health after being on a rawfood diet. This was my turning point. I began my formal training in diet, nutrition, rawfood chef, coaching/counseling, and trainer to complement my masters in public health degree, intervention and prevention and made a path to help combat obesity through nutrition.
Obesity is a prevalent public health issue in our nation. My goal is to serve the community people in combating obesity through teaching, coaching, instructing, writing, and speaking on ways to have a blossom vibrant, healthy, and energetic life through nutrition.
